NIKKI SUDDEN ” Johnny Smidley Slowly ” (Abstract Sound, 1982)

First solo album after the Swell Maps adventure, Waiting on Egypt is an amazing post punk record, full of heartrending melodies and beautiful singing lines. After that he released more that 20 records on labels like Glass Records or Creation. Nikki Sudden was a real genius.
